T.C.C. SIX NATIONS PREDICTOR - 19th of January 2010

As per last year, T.C.C. are running a Six Nations Match predictor for the up and coming 2010 championship.

Entry forms are available at the clubhouse bar at just £1 per go and you can enter as many times as you like.

All entries must be received at T.C.C. by Friday 5th February.

Please feel free to take a bundle of forms and sell to friends & family.

The majority of matches will be shown on the big screen in the clubhouse, please contact the club for further details.

2010 kicks off with plenty of social activities to chase away the post Christmas blues and provide an opportunity to wear that new jumper !!

THURSDAY 14th JANUARY - Quiz Night hosted by Fraz with CASH PRIZES for the winners (what credit crunch ??).

FRIDAY 29th JANUARY - T.C.C. Race Night hosted by the Vice-Chairman Richard Hawkins.

T.C.C. FIXTURES - 2010 SEASON - 14th of December 2009

Thornbury Cricket Club's league fixtures for 2010 have now been released and can be viewed through the "fixtures" heading on this website.

Both the 1st XI and 2nd XI lock horns with the familiar opponents of Cheltenham on the first Saturday in May whilst the newly promoted 3rd XI travel to Timsbury.

The Sunday league XI start their fixtures on the 30th May with a trip to Wickwar.

The Youth team groups have also been selected for the 2010 season and can be viewed by clicking below (fixture lists to be confirmed in due course)......

CHRIS DENT IN U-19 WORLD CUP SQUAD - 3rd of December 2009

Thornbury Cricket Club player Chris Dent has capped an incredible year by being named in England’s squad for the Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand in January.

Chris has recently returned from his first tour with the national side in Bangladesh and can now look forward to being part of a prestigious tournament, along with his Gloucestershire team-mate David Payne.

T.C.C. CLUB OFFICIALS & CAPTAINS - 2010 SEASON - 24th of November 2009

Thornbury Cricket Club held their AGM last night (23rd November) and the club officials and team captains were nominated and selected for the forthcoming 2010 season.

There has been a change at the very top as Allan Taylor has stood down from his position as Chairman to be replaced by Mike Collett.

Allan has served on the T.C.C. Executive Committee for over 10 years in various guises and the club takes this opportunity to thank him for all his hard work and dedication in taking the club forward and overseeing Thornbury becoming one of the best facilities to play cricket in the area.
