MERRY CHRISTMAS - 23rd of December 2010

Thornbury Cricket Club wishes all the members, family, friends and website visitors a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2011 should prove to be an exciting year with both 1st and 2nd XI's competing in Premier One and, as usual, plenty of action both on and off the field.

The clubhouse will be open upto Christmas Eve but then closed until Wednesday 29th December.

DEREK HAWKINS TRIBUTE - 15th of December 2010

The Memorial Service for Derek Hawkins, who passed away at the end of November, was conducted at St. Mary's church in Thornbury yesterday (14th December).

The service was, as predicted, extremely well attended and tributes were made by Richard Hawkins and Allan Taylor.

For those who could not attend or could not hear due to the sheer numbers, Allan has very kindly provided a copy of his warm and heart-felt tribute to Derek and this can be read by clicking below....

OFFICERS OF THE CLUB - 2011 - 30th of November 2010

Thornbury Cricket Club's AGM was held last night, 29th November, and the club officers for the 2011 season voted in (click below for details).

It was also decided that Social Membership fees remain the same at a bargain £12.50 but playing membership is to increase to £90 with the inclusion of the cost for the winter net sessions.

Many thanks to all those who attended and congratulations (and good luck) to those elected.....

T.C.C. CLUB OFFICIALS & CAPTAINS - 2011 SEASON - 13th of October 2010

The opportunity to nominate club officials for the 2011 season is now available in the clubhouse.

All proposals will be voted on during the AGM on Monday 29th November at 8pm in the clubhouse.
