It was a mixed weekend for the Thornbury sides as the results for the penultimate fixtures in the 2009 league campaigns were published.
The 1st XI chased down 241 against Bristol West Indies to see them almost guarenteed a promotion spot to Premier One next year and a win against Keynsham in the final game of the season will confirm Thornbury as Premier Two champions.
However the 2nd XI were well beaten by Weston-Super-Mare, a result that confirms the 2nd XI's relegation to Premier Two for the 2010 season.
The 3rd XI lost in a tight game against St. Mary Redcliffe but promotion ambitions are still alive and kicking as they go to Bedminster for their last game of the season.
